It`s been a while since my last update this blog, and I am happy that my update is showing my family. I guess this is my very latest photo of my daughter; her hair was done, maybe for her grade school graduation. I can`t believe that I have a high school daughter now.

Soon she will live with me here in Canada, we have wasted so many years living far from each other, but I know that it`s all worth it, especially when she`s already with me.

It's been a while since I last created scrapbook page and because of that I will be posting a free QP I bumped into TotallyTwistedScraps, I hope in the coming days I can create pages again. I have a problem in buying new kit though since I am unemployed these days.

I join the September 09 Island Manuscript Challenge at the Scrapable.net forum, I grabbed my fiance's nephew's photo when he went to his school last Monday.

I really want to post this, even I am so tired lol! Oh well I learn some stuff while doing this LO, especially that I need to slice the photo because of the template I got from the Free Digital Scrapbooking, it's their September 09 Scraplifter Challenge. Thanks for the Adobe Image Ready, although I was having a hard time at first, but, I had fun...really really fun.

a supposed "about me challenge"

I was about to post this LO to one of the digital scrapbook forums, I visit these past few days unfortunately I forgot which forum is that hosting an about me challenge. I thought, I'm going to be sending my very first challenge, but I guess, it's not. So, in order for me not to get lost again, I decided to put the link on my sidebar all the sites that interest me, including the forum I joined in.

The challenge was supposed to be about me when I was a child. I don't have my old photos with me, but I checked my blog and I saw the old pictures of my sister and some cousins. I was wondering where I was when the photo was taken because me and my sister were always together when we were little kids, and the fact that the photo was also taken just in front of our house.

Spontaneous Delight

I guess, I have no time for blog hopping to see what these blogs I used to prowl in up into. I am too very excited with these blog, especially when finally, I saw this template. No kidding, I love it. I can't believe, I have the same excitement I used to have four and half years ago, when I was just new to blogging.

The problem is, I'm kind of having a second thought if what I really want to do with this blog, although I know that I am very much into digital scrap booking nowadays. I am not good nor an expert, in fact, I am on my baby step to learning. And I am very excited, especially when I saw some elements like this.

Aren't they cute? They are like bubbles in different colors with which you want to catch with your two bare hands.

They are also like the luminous embellishment on your belt when you have the girls' night out.

Happy Go Lucky

While trying to figure out a perfect template for this blog, I guess I have to post this LO that I made using the Happy Go Lucky Kit from ShabbyPrincess.com. I grabbed it fast when I saw the kit but of course, I need to sign up first to get it.

I can't explain what I felt after I created this LO. My very first creation. There's more to go, I know. And more learning to come too.

Thanks also to Marie of Free Digital Scrapbooking for the August template that I used for this LO. the template is their digital scrapbooking scraplifter challenge for August 2009. I am still thinking if I will submit this though.

A new header and a new beginning

I just made a new header today, I swear, I don't want to sleep not until I finished the lay out, a real digital scrapbook I made with my old Photoshop Element 6.

This time it's not just a simple copy and paste. I have to thank the freedigitalscrapbooking.com for free alphabets and scrapable.com for rekindling my passion to learn digital scrapbooking.

I hope that in the coming days, I will still be in my best mood to create a new digital scrap pages.

A beginner's rant

I don't know how this will work, tonight while doing my Entrecard drops I've been busied researching about digital scrapping for beginners and when I found one, I just dropped it like a hot potato. I felt dumb if I continue reading on photos in computer, the software, creating pages and saving it because I know all about these stuff already, except creating the stunning pages.

But since I am considered a newbie in this craft, I have to be patience on reading on everything about digital scrap booking. I really want to learn.

The above image is my second try on digital scrapping after more than a year of neglecting the craft that I want to learn. I got the background from creative.net, it's just a copy and paste. I am looking forward to a time that I can do some creative stuff and images.
